Maybe you've been birding for a while, or you're a little curious to see what all the fuss is about. Maybe you've wanted to try a spotting scope and have been put off by the price. Maybe you want to go birding, but don't have anyone to go with. If any of those things are true for you, you're in luck. *Beginner friendly event* We will have optics for you to try, we'll keep a slower pace and spend time enjoying the experience and community Join us for a morning outing at Papago Park, where we'll explore the habitat's take note of any birds we see, and enjoy each other's company. We can even have some sit and chat time in the shade depending on how everyone feels. Bring: water, a snack, comfortable footwear with good traction, any mobility aids you might like to have Accessibility: slow to moderate pace (we will probably stop a lot), restrooms on site, multiple benches, paved and unpaved paths, most paths are even (we may take some rocky/steep paths pending group comfort level) Limit: 25 Leaders: Robert Carter and Special Guest
