About this event
Group games, they are fun when they work and a nightmare when they don’t. Let’s get some reps in on playing with an Us Vs the World mentality to write our games up on the spot. With clear rules and clear paths to joy! They won’t work every time, but by golly, if we won’t learn how to have fun trying. Stop the dread, choose WE instead. Workshop may feature the following: Difference between Group Game and Group Scene. Finding/Sealing the pattern with the “1, 2, 3, seal” Simplifying the pattern with small steps. “All or nothing at all” heightening. Completing the pattern with buttons – “flip, flex or fly high”. Fighting the impulse to blow it up. How to manage the “wildcard”? Every game has the potential for one. Unraveling complexity through justification and “flip flopping”. “Hey everybody, get in here” Game leadership. Us Vs the World sense of play.
