About this event
An Advanced Non-Linear Longform Workshop with Jacque Arend Longform isn’t a straight line – it’s a network of discoveries, patterns, and evolving relationships. In this workshop, improvisers will sharpen the editing tools that transform source material into collaboratively expanded worlds. Through walk-ons, tag-outs and layered time jumps, students will explore how to clarify discoveries, heighten dynamics, and build rich thematic connections through ensemble play. This workshop focuses on developing the group instinct to recognize what wants to grow and how edits can transform a single moment into an expansive theatrical event. Recommended for Intermediate to Advanced players. Improvisors who are already familiar with tag edits. It is also open to any improviser ready for challenging, concept-driven work. Instructor: Jacque Arend Date: Thursday, September 17th Time: 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm Student Cap: 14 Cost: $45 Jacque Arend is a Phoenix-based improviser, producer, and educator with more than 20 years of experience in longform improvisation and theatrical storytelling.
