LEVEL 1: Introduction to Kiln-Formed Glass

[Multi-day workshop — see title for full date range] September 25-27, 2026. 10a-5p each day, with a 1-hour lunch from 1-2pm. Skill Level: Open to All Levels, ages 16+ In this 3-day course, you will learn the fundamentals of glass fusing: glass cutting, design, care and operation of a glass kiln. You'll also learn the difference between tack fusing, full fusing, draping, slumping, and so much more! You will successfully complete fused glass projects using a variety of glass types and fusing techniques. Cost per project depends on student's design and color choices.  Specific projects and material costs are covered during the first session. Projects include:  coasters, picture frame, square plate, round plate, glass embossing, displacement, full fusing, contour fusing, tack fusing, and slumping glass.
