About this event

With Migration in full swing and a riparian habitat flanked by marsh and Mesquite Bosque, this trip is sure to be action packed, and full of fun for all who join. We will make our way from the parking lot to the gravel path and head west, exploring ponds and river, before making our way down to river level for an unobstructed view of the sunset while we listen for Owls, Coyotes, and even a Bobcat if we're lucky. A variety of warblers are sure to be in town, along with a complete complement of wading birds, ranging from Ducks to Egrets. Bring: footwear that can get muddy, layered clothing, water, optics (binocular/monocular), sun protection, mobility aids, bug spray (optional) Accessibility: uneven trail with elevation change, no restroom, Difficulty: 2.5 ascending and descending rocky slopes with medium gaps Available spots: 15 Leader Robert Carter
